Hosanna! Now and Forevermore

“They brought the donkey and the colt
and put on them their cloaks, and he sat on them.
Most of the crowd spread their cloaks on the road,
and others cut (palm) branches from the trees
and spread them on the road.
And the crowds that went before him and that followed him

were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David!
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!

He came as predicted. (Matthew 21:4-5)

And still they did not see. For their hopes were not set high enough.

Taking A Leap Of Faith

My husband and I have been trying to start being active again. When we started dating we were both avid gym goers, then life got in the way (as a lot of you can probably relate). We wanted to start hanging out more together but with work and home responsibilities… that became a bit difficult. So what did we decide to cut out in order to spend more time together? The gym. Although we wouldn’t change our dating history for anything, we are having some trouble getting back in the work out routine again.

So we are taking it slow. We have been going on walks mostly every night of the week together.

Pretty Dresses, Candy & Jesus

 When I was a little girl, Easter meant exactly 3 things to me.
  1.  I would get to wear a pretty new dress that probably involved a very scratchy petticoat underneath.
  2.  There would be a big basket of candy and colored Easter eggs hidden in one of the closets in our home.
  3.  And Jesus was alive!

 I am not sure what each of those things has to do with the other, but I would never turn down a chance for candy and new clothes. If we celebrated Jesus by munching on sweets and wearing some sparkly white gloves; that was perfectly fine with me.
