Lessons I Learned From My Mother – Encouragement & Giveaways!

“What is a godly mother? A godly mother is one who loves the Lord her God with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength and then passionately, consistently, and unrelentingly teaches her child to do the same.”

You may not be a mom, but you have a mom. Perhaps your own mom is an example of a Godly woman – one who set the atmosphere of love and peace in your home. Or, if you are like me, perhaps your mother does not know the Lord and your upbringing was not led by the Spirit of God. Or perhaps your relationship with your own mom is strained and is in need of healing and restoration.

Whether you are a mom, or long for the day when you will be one; whether you are close to your mom, or your relationship is a “work in progress”, we as woman all have a role to play in the Godly upbringing of other women. The writers here at 5 Minutes for Faith would like to take the next few weeks to encourage your heart.  No matter what season you find yourself in as a woman — whether a mom or not — we all need to be encouraged and learn from other women.

Throughout the next few weeks through Mother’s Day, our fabulous team of writers will be sharing from their own experiences of lessons learned from their mothers. Not only will your hearts be encouraged as you come and read here a few days each week, but we are giving away some pretty fabulous prizes. Although I don’t want to spoil the surprises, I guarantee you these prizes are those that any woman, mom or not, will enjoy!

If you do not already subscribe to 5 Minutes for Faith, consider signing up for our Newsletter or following us along through RSS or on Facebook. You don’t want to miss a single post, or a chance to win one of four fabulous prizes!

Come back on Wednesday for our first post in our “Lessons I Learned From My Mother” series.
