My husband and I recently celebrated our 15th Wedding Anniversary with a trip to Niagara Falls. We had a wonderful time. Friends who had previously visited the falls tried to describe how beautiful they were, but their description didn’t come close to seeing it with my own eyes. It truly was a sight to behold.
As we approached our hotel which overlooked the falls, our driver asked if it was our first visit. We told him it was, so he drove right by so we could get our first glimpse of this awe inspiring creation. It was breathtaking. We stood amazed as we watched 3,160 tons of water per second spill over the second largest waterfall on the globe.

Psalm 25:4 Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths.
When I was growing up we didn’t have a whole lot of money. I knew that in order to attend college, I would need a scholarship. Consequently, the last semester of my senior year when everyone else was having fun and goofing off, I was studying. I managed to finish as Valedictorian – which earned me a full scholarship.
Because I knew I had to maintain my grade point average in order to keep my scholarship, I rarely skipped class. I figured out how much each class cost, so I knew how much money I was wasting if I did skip.

God reveals Himself to us through everyday life events. I’m a firm believer in this. When our hearts and minds focus on Him and we ask God to show Himself, He does.
I had one of those moments not long ago when sitting in the car line waiting to pick up my daughter from preschool. A double car line forms along the edge of the church’s large parking lot. On this particular day, the usually empty lot contained a single car parked in the very center. Of all the available spaces, this person parked right beside a trash barrel.
While I watched, the person cranked their car and backed out of the space.
