Every day we are faced with a myriad of choices. We choose everything from our simple breakfast at home to the specific details of our coffee order at Starbucks. Still the most important choices we make are not what we choose at the breakfast table or the coffee shop, but instead, those choices which impact our inner person, and if neglected have far greater consequences than a poor breakfast choice or high priced beverage at Starbucks.
So today’s menu is fare for your inner man. The one that is craving more than a bagel and latte. Nutrition for the soul and nourishment to carry you through the day as well as “to infinity and beyond!”, is available right here, so pull up a chair and prepare for a feast that will satisfy. Are you ready?
First things first, right?
On your mark…
We need to dress for the day. I’m not talking designer duds. I am talking about the most fabulous line created by The Ultimate Designer! God has designed the most exquisite wardrobe for his sweet daughters to wear. We are Warrior Princesses who are dressed in nothing but the best in heavenly fashion. Put on the full armor of God, girls. (Ephesians 6:1-18) Don’t leave home without dressing up, sisters!
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:18
Get set…
One thing I’ve learned as the years go on is that I don’t know what’s coming on any given day. But God does. The best thing I can do is trust this truth and remember I can always choose my response in any circumstance. (Philippians 4:4-8) I can grumble and complain or I can praise His name.
Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. Philippians 4:5
Go!
We’ve got this, friends!
We are rooted in Him, established in faith, abounding in grace.
Go, go, go!
As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. Colossians 2:6-7
And the winner is…YOU!
Either way at the end of the day we win!
But what things were gain to me, those I counted as loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things and count them but dung, that I may win Christ. (Philippians 3:7-8)
With the Author and Finisher of our faith leading and cheering us on, today will be a great day. In fact, my friends, that is called a Win-Win situation. Welcome to the Winner’s Circle.
To whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. Galatians 1:5

Dawn- Reading a day late…but this was the power boost I needed to start today…such rich Scriptures to infuse my life with energy and the reminder to start the day with more than breakfast and coffee, but to start it with Jesus and His word…also motivates me to want to run the race all over again each morning! Ready, Set Go! Off and running with Jesus!
I know, Kel- I feel I need to read and do this daily myself. Guess that’s the point! Thanks for checking in here!
