Statement of Faith

We believe the Holy Scriptures (Bible) are God’s infallible and only authoritative Word. (2 Tim 3:16, Revelation 22:18-19, John 21:30-31)

We believe in the doctrine of the Trinity. Within the one Being that is God, there exists eternally three coequal and coeternal persons, namely, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the literal account of Creation, that God created everything, and that in His own image and likeness, He created man.

We believe in the total depravity and lost condition of man to sin, and man’s need for a Savior.

We believe in the deity and virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His death upon the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe in the atonement of our sins and that we have been purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ. For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16). He died on the cross to save us from sin and death (Romans 5:8, 1 Corinthians 15:3-6). And that Jesus had given us the gift of eternal life and that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, you will be saved. We must receive Christ (John 1:12). We receive Christ through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). When we receive Christ, we experience a new birth (John 3:1-8).

We believe in justification by faith alone apart from the works of the law.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling presence, the believer in Christ is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe that baptism is an act of obedience to God and a public declaration of faith, but is not a prerequisite to salvation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and that the body of Christ consists of believers from all over the world – past, present, and future.

We believe in the Great Commission! (2 Tim 4:1-5, Matthew 28:18-20)
