Thankful for Purpose

Thanksgiving 1
“For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to His good purpose.” (Philippians 10:13)

Thankful that God created a purpose for me.

Thankful that He gives me the desire to complete that purpose.

Thankful that He gives me the skills & abilities needed to fulfill my purpose.

Thankful for family & friends who encourage me to walk in that purpose.

Thankful that He will complete that purpose in ways far beyond what I can ask or think!

Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. (Ephesians 3:20-21)

Thanks for this reminder Kari. I am so thankful for the purpose He’s created me for.

I’ve been turning to Ephesians 3:20 a lot lately. I like how it reads in The Message…
“God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.”

Blessings,
Laura

Thanks, Laura. I need reminded often of how He wants to work in and through me. It’s a partnership.
